Next we explain the different degrees of security established by Law in Spain, included in article 2 of the ministerial order INT / 316/2011.

Grade 1. Low risk

It’s a Security System that you can install yourself in your home. This kind of security system is not connected to any CRA (Alarm Receiving Center)..

Grade 2. Low or medium risk

Alarm systems for homes or small businesses that will connected to a CRA. There systems must be installed and reviewed periodically by a certified company..

Grade 3. Medium – high risk

By law, there are some companies that must have this degree of security in their facilities. That is, companies where the value of what is protected is high and that may be more prone to suffer a theft. For example; Banks, Pharmacy, Jewelry stores, Museums, Game rooms, etc.

Grade 4. High risk

It’s the higher security system level. It includes establishments where safety is a priority over any other factor. For example: Military bases, explosives, etc.
